Despite of the promising sky, very few birds were seen. Highlights were a Grey-headed woodpecker (gråspett) and a Hawk owl (haukugle). Both seen earlier in the short history of Big Year Norway so far, but anyway exciting to see.
Today, I was interviewed in radio about the Big Year project. Very nice that the public and media seem to take a great interest in this exciting year!

Hi Eirik! Your almost at 100 species! Congrats on the progress so far; I hope the 100th will be a good one to bag! Good luck! Best. EricReplyDelete
Thanks Eric! It is a quite good selection to choose from still, so who knows what will be the next one. As long as it is a new bird, I am always happy. Good luck to yourself! Im quite impressed with the number of miles you are covering and it must be exciting to do birding in so many different countries from cycling through the different landscapes.ReplyDelete
Hvilken radiostasjon etc var det? :)ReplyDelete
// Hi, I've been two times in NRK Møre og Romsdal last week. The radio NRK Finnmark made an interview this week, but not sure when they will broadcast it. Also some tv stuff to come soon on national tv - but not sure when.ReplyDelete
